MEDICARE OPEN ENROLLMENT EVENTS
Our Agency will host enrollment assistance fairs to help Medicare recipients compare prescription drug plans in the following counties: Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Cleburne, Clay, Coosa, Etowah, Randolph, Talladega, and Tallapoosa.
To help develop a plan comparison, Medicare recipients will need to bring the following:
- Their Medicare card,
- A complete list of the medications they are taking with dosage and strength.
Volunteers will guide them through the selection process and help them with information on the cost of each plan. People interested in getting a plan comparison will be assisted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each counseling session will last about 40 minutes. There may be a wait time for assistance.
